Sibly hall, Reading University
( Sibly hall & supermarket ASDA)
Sibly hall is miles away from town beyond the farthest side of campus. Some people says it is a "dump"!! Pls ignore it when someone says somewhere is a dump - it doesn't matter because you could be living in luxury with no friends or living it up partying every night in a so-called 'dump'. I quite like living there - a big wondow and nice corridor !!!
I miss the time that I had in Sibly hall – floor dinners, baking, chasing out by the fire alarm at mid-night.
---Although I heard that quite a number of things had changed and not all of them were positive.
A story happened to me I will never forget -- chased out of bed three times by the fire alarm. I will never forget that time I spent much time shut in my room revising for exams! I was so tired and was sleeping deeply but I was woken up by the fire alarm at 4 am. It was a rule that we had to go out when the fire alarm activated. When I opened the door I saw fire, it was in front of my and Michelle's door (my flatmates, she lived opposite me). I saw she got water from her room and told me "calm down". I just followed her and then she held me as we went downstairs. There was too much smoke and we couldn't breathe. I thought I was in a dream and asked her several times "Was it a fire? Did I see fire?" ~ Thanks, Michelle!!!

Look our kitchen room: so many cereals for breakfast? isn't it crazy!!!
The 2004 UEFA European Football Championship England has always been good at Football even though they havent won a world cup since 1966. Here I was, in bar of the Sibly hall, I was looking for reasons that the World Cup is something special -- unique -- in the world!!! They play real quality football and have pride, passion, and the will to win...
Greece gave Euro 2004 a gloriously unpredictable chapter in football's history, and were deserving winners. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/4021041.stm
