"Be true to yourself and follow your dreams" ~ I arrived at London Heathrow, and took the bus in to town, and so my adventure began. Some of my friends said my time in the UK has changed me in a number of ways. I don't believe that anyone could be indifferent to experiencing such a complex and absorbing culture. I feel I am a better person for having learnt to adapt to it. If you are interested in my story, please follow me! Adventure began in the UK in July 2003.

TEARS

The following words are something which I would like to dedicate to all friends I met. Everyone out there whom had touched my life and to those I had blessed.
With love... to Jenny & Becki
"It hurts me to say good bye to you but I know you best to move along. Though I kept it to myself, when I came to you my heart was heavy.
It's a loud, noisy world we live in, and sometimes we lose our way. But the good Lord sent someone to bring us home. Make no never mind about it, loving people is hard work. And families, with all those lies mixing together... it get kinda scary.
But if we grab hold of each other, and hold on... there's nothing more beautiful in the world. You angels are my heart and I will never forget you... And I know one day we will definitely meet again, nobody can separate us. "

LOVE LOVE LOVE... FRIENDS ALWAYS SHOW LOVE

Dont want to count ~ 3 weeks later...

Few weeks later, I will say goodbye to Jenny & Becki with a heavy heart. It is going to be hard. I somehow wish our dreams were frozen so our hearts would not be broken.
I know I will miss this part of my life...many fond memories. I'll miss them but I will always have these memories to look back on.
Everytime we say goodbye, keep in mind, I'm by your side.
Everytime we say goodbye, keep in mind, we shouldn't cry.
You're gonna live your life, the new life. I am so happy for you - Becki & Jenny!
Thanks for being part of my life!

Breathtaking

Hello, I'm here again to fill up this blog with something again. Well... I found out that indeed it is hard to update my blog and that sometime I even felt like giving up on it because of my busy job. Seriously something that I always do... But must press on!

An unforgettable experience” is a perfect description of a trip to the Turtle Island. Here is something about the Turtle Island from the website, “This small, solitary island located about 10 kilometers off the coast of Toucheng in Yilan County has volcanic terrain that, from certain angles, looks like a turtle floating in the sea”. Yea, it is.
We joined the dolphin and whale watching boat tour to get there. It was nice but we all got sick in the boat. We saw many dolphin and flying fish but no whales. Flying fishes were amazing, we thought they are birds – they did fly for us!!! Dolphins played around the boat, all of a sudden, there they were! They just swam around us, dove in and out, and did their own thing. I wanted to take some pics for them but they never wait for me.
Someone told us that Dolphin and whale will never live together because they are belong to the same family, do they? We got question on it!!!

In the end of our trip, I had ICE CREAM!!! That made the trip is much more WONDERFUL!!!

Calla-Lily

Yang-ming-shan national park is the great place to visit. Currently, the Zhuzihu calla-lily garden is planted with the white calla-lily variety. My friend took me to the YangMing Mountain to see the view.
It was raining this Saturday… I stayed in the car and watched the huge production acreage and volume. It was beautiful but it rained so hard…
I went there again today, it is a sunny brisk day with wispy thin clouds. I like it. Here I took some photos.

Beautiful Scene

I wanted to share beautiful scene with you!

The gorgeous north coast of Taiwan, looking east toward Keelung Mountain and the resort town of WanLi.
Sea Shihmen : commonly known as "Stone Door" set up a printing plant to a sharp rise in the waterfront village, the shape of Gate House, from tidal erosion. Point Lighthouse and wealth across the distance, dry-Xi Yin spectacular, back in top row, a soothing feeling.
See the photo under the bright blue sky... The beautiful north coast definitely can't be beat, it is surely beautiful scene.
Stone door

In evening, we went to Dan Shui. Dan Shui is right beside the coast so we got to eat some yummy food like fried tufo with rice noodle inside (yum!). My friend also tried deep-fried shrimp. The food there was enough for us..haha.. we went to Shihlin market! There were many stalls at Shihlin, but we only tried a few: oyster egg omelette served with a sweet sauce, sea food soup, and one of my favorite food – ice chip... yamyam!!!
Well,I didn't take pics for these...
I had a good time...
After that, I feel that I get ready for coming up work and challenge..

No News !!!

I thought maybe it was time for random update!!! No new news really!!!
I am so tired of being strong.... I'm not always smiling and happy…
Life seems to be getting harder day by day, obstacles after obstacles. It has been pretty exhausting and tiring recently. Working at the moment is really quite tiring… But I seem to begin to adapt to this lifestyle…
I don’t want work take over my life. I've passion for so many things else. So many things I wanna learn and do… I really dont want to give up the things that I've passion for. I dont want to regret for not doing those stuff. We only get to live once and I really hope to live my life to the extreme. Think I should work on more frequently and increase my working hours, and I should spend time on something else too.
It may be tough but I'm sure I can take the stress. I have nothing to loss, therefore just go for it!!! Ya, GO FOR IT!

Life isn't perfect and this is what makes it so beautiful

Who Are They?

This excellent sketch is recognized as Mr.D's absolute masterwork !
The work poses some significant questions:
The sitter"s"? - baby, girl sit on the chair and girl in the frame!!! And... what is the story behind the picture ?
Whatever questions people have, it is not about anything but about everything... It has meant so much... Miss W has decided that she likes it better than other pictures she owns and it subtly registers in her mind.... Yes, she does.

Presentation is everything!

Today, Nancy bought me a lunch in Fridays restaurant. We had a great time, enjoyed delicious food, talking about Arlis & Pierce & many nice things happened in the UK.Then, my mind was flittering about something... something really nice. Got to write it down.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
It was the busiest time in Reading since we had to prepare our reports and the coming exams.
Well, when the pursuits of the pragmatic aspects of life become tiresome beyond the level of tolerance, you have to plan something to spice the things up.
Here we go! I wanted to surprise my friends with a romantic dinner at my hall –Sibly hall. ( I love our kitchen room there – except the horrible green wall.)
I set the table with the finest tableware and cloth napkins, dressed the table with candles and fresh flowers, turn the lights down to create mood and the music......subtle, smooth and soothing. This was quite an evening! We all enjoyed!
Nancy made a Winni carrot cake!!! It was special for Winni!

Scoop !!!

As you all know, Accounting firms get incredible crazy busy during the peak tax season. We have to deal with increasing customer demand. Some of my projects are quite tough really.
Well, busy does not sound like a good excuse, we still have to study.
Yes, we had our first English class tonight. It was fun. In the course, the teacher talked about Ice Cream.. Ice Cream, Ice Cream...
WoW.. Häagen-Dazs.. Häagen-Dazs.. Häagen-Dazs
It is not my favorite ice cream but it reminds me of the time I had with Simone in Reading, UK. The time Simone came to visit me from Stiring. We had fun!!! delicious!!!!

HeArTbReAkInG

Last night I was extremely tired and felt like crying. All the way home I wished that I was married, so that I could come home to someone who could hug me and tell me that things would get better. Suddenly my mobile began beeping with incoming text messages. The messages were from UK. How come they knew I was on my way home! I felt really encouraged. Sometimes I have really hard days but I just think of happy times like last Christmas and good friends and that makes me smile again.
Then I was thinking of Becki, June, Jenny and I talked about topic "saying Good-bye" last week. Becki talked about her grand-mum, it was a long story ~ its far from Taiwan to USA. At that time I was thinking of Philip & Mildred ( they are over 90)...what it would be like to say good-bye to someone when you knew that you would not see them again!!!...Uk is far from Taiwan too!!! They gave me a hug and a kiss, as soon as I was in airplane I wept...
However cry doesn't mean I am weak, deep down I know, they are with me all the time, I am in their thoughts as they told me!

Yummy.....dumplings!

One of my foreign friends' favorite things to eat are dumplings. Ivy invited us to come over her new house to make dumplings.

I almost forgot how fun it was to make it, and everyone seems to enjoy making a mess on the table with it. Of course the food itself is yummy too, a nice refreshing start.

In Taiwan dumplins are usually eaten either steamed, fried or in a soup.
Serving and eating: Eat it after dipping them in the dipping sauce.

Christmas at England and holiday highlights

How is going?
I am sorry for not being able to keep the blog running recently. I was extremely busy these days, some old projects, quite a few new projects, the Chinese new year to welcome, books to read... Well, I was busy for getting my work done and I didn't get much sleep before I went to the UK, and I was too excited to sleep when I was in the UK. Plus, after a good holiday, my mood is quite low when returning home and facing normal routine. I did not want to come back home... Well, responsibility got the better of me, and I am back doing what I need to do.
Despite being off work for three weeks over the holidays, the time always seems to go by so quickly. My holiday was greatttt!!!
Here are quick entries of highlights! Each picture has its own story. Enjoy watching it !!!
